Here are some thoughts on why some so-called architecture patterns aren't really architecture patterns.

SYMMETRICAL REUSE -- From PLOP1 this applies to the layering of the system, but it really just describes the benefits of reusing an architecture. Based on PEDISTAL.

DATA ABSTRACTION OR OBJECT-ORIENTED -- Doesn't really seem like a pattern...

INTERPRETER -- These doesn't seem like an architecture pattern as much as typically a subsystem within a larger architecture.

FULL VIEW WITH ERRORS -- This just says display errors, doesn't seem like an architecture.

MAIN PLUS SUBROUTINES -- Subroutines can have an OO or other structures. This is a programming style more than an architecture pattern.

PROCESS CONTROL -- Really defines a domain not an architectural approach
