Creation of SecureCoding (this page) and SecureIntegerOperations pages was inspired by http://www.cert.org/secure-coding/ .

Compared to C, the C++ language adds several secure coding paradigms but it's far from being a secure language. Quoting Bjarne Stroustrup: "C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot; C++ makes it harder, but when you do it blows your whole leg off".

It is a humble attempt to harden C++ more than Stroustrup did.
